​You are invited to join the Monthly Meetings for the South Shore Cultural Center Park Advisory Council on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10:30 am - 12 pm  in the Lakeview Room on the 3rd floor of the SSCC (elevators are available).

​Our annual meeting and officer election will take place on November 14, 2026, at 10:30 am. Anyone who is eligible and interested in running for election to the Board of Directors should email the Nominating Committee to request an intent to run form and eligibility requirements to: [email protected]​

Below is a calendar of events happening at the South Shore Cultural Center and South Shore Nature Sanctuary, including classes, performing arts programs, PAC events, volunteer days, and more. Our goal is to compile as complete a calendar as possible for everything happening at the Cultural Center, but most events are not managed & hosted by the PAC. If you have an event at the SSCC happening that you would like added to the calendar, please email us! If you have questions about a Chicago Park District class or program, please contact the relevant office.

NATURE SANCTUARY VOLUNTEER STEWARDSHIP

During the Spring, Summer, and Fall, the Nature Sanctuary Committee hosts monthly stewardship days on the 3rd Saturday of every month from April - October and occasional other events at the South Shore Natural Area.

​All are welcome, and supplies are provided. Please join us!
