Want to give back, meet new people, and help create amazing community experiences this Fall?
Join the South Shore Cultural Center Advisory Council as a volunteer at upcoming community events at the beautiful South Shore Cultural Center! From music to markets to youth programming — your support helps bring the South Side to life.
Volunteer shifts available in September, October, and December Only a 2-hour minimum Located in Chicago’s South Shore
Attending our monthly meetings is the best way to meet other PAC members, hear about available committee work, and get involved.
Meetings take place on the second Saturday of every month at 10:30 am in the Lakeview Room, which is located on the third floor of the main Cultural Center building. See the Events tab for specific information about upcoming meetings.

NATURE SANCTUARY VOLUNTEER STEWARDSHIP
During the Spring, Summer, and Fall, the Nature Sanctuary Committee hosts monthly stewardship days on the 3rd Saturday of every month from April - October and occasional other events at the South Shore Natural Area.
All are welcome, and supplies are provided. Please join us!

MEMBERSHIP
Membership applications are available at every monthly meeting, or click here to fill out a membership form online. Members eligible to vote must have a membership application on file and have attended four sessions within 12 months of a fiscal year. Please see our bylaws for more information about voting & membership.
Membership dues are $25 for individuals and $35 for organizations. These dues provide critical support to the PAC's work of providing free programming at the SSCC, advocating for improvements, and maintaining facilities. However, dues are not required for PAC membership.
The SSCC PAC is a 501 (c) (3) organization, so dues are tax-deductible. Please contact us for the required tax deduction paperwork.
Dues/donations are greatly appreciated in order to support the PAC's work at the SSCC, but they are not required for membership.

SSCCAC members also have numerous opportunities to volunteer on committees and at events of all kinds throughout the year. Examples of currently active committees are Fundraising, Programming, Building & Grounds, & Performing Arts.
