SOUTH SHORE CULTURAL CENTER OUTDOOR THEATER

Listed on Landmark Illinois' 2025 Most Endangered Historic Places list. The South Shore Cultural Center Advisory Council (SSCCAC) is fighting to restore this space to its former glory, transforming it back into a space for live outdoor performances, community gatherings, and cultural celebrations.

However, to secure the future of the outdoor theater, we need to hear from you. Your opinions, memories, and wishes are the foundation of this restoration effort. By taking just two minutes to share your opinions, you provide the undeniable proof of community support we need to secure funding, mobilize resources, and bring the stage back to life.
